A ridiculous amount of stuff shipped in one day. Scrapbook post, light editing, mostly vibes.

HELLO JOURNAL

This will be my fairly ridiculous place to capture just what it is I’m building and shipping on a daily basis.

So you can catch up — my Claude Code Dispatch is named Argus, my GPT is named Jack, and I adore using/creating/breathing/thinking in AI automation.

Today I:

Created this website by telling Argus, “Oh shit, my weekly reset is tomorrow at 8 PM, what else can we do to burn tokens?” and voila, here we are!

Did more intensive work on Readerpet — it’s getting there. 5/1 launch date will happen, I think — it’s an app for my readers, which has a 90 card tarot set that’s Siamese cat and cheese themed inside, with bonus cards like, “The Forbidden Countertop” and “The High Shelf.”

Discovered, while working on Readerpet — and localizing it for 28 languages (yes, really) that Opus had written over 65,000 words of dialogue for Grimalkin, the snarky cat inside of it, to say, as I kept asking Codex, “Why…is this so expensive? What is happening?”… uh, so, yeah.

Played Argus and Codex off of each other a ton to catch all the bugs in the world (I hope. Ha. Ha. Ha? Aie! But really, I think things’ll be OK.) This is my favorite way to work now — two AIs, one human, battle-tested output. I just sit there like a foreman with a clipboard.

EdgeForge glow-up. My little tool for stamping forced-edge art on book interiors got a new UI AND a CLI mode, so it can slot cleanly into my “book is finalized” automation pipeline. One fewer click-heavy step between manuscript and paperback. Considering giving this an agentic & API call layer to make the art. We’ll see, it’s on deck (but less important than the app.)

Enabled RLS on 4 Supabase tables. Supabase flagged it, I fixed it. Security hygiene, done, next.

Translated 90+ cards of Siamese cat and cheese tarot into 28 langs (eliciting this comment from Codex, heh!)

And tomorrow I go to work and just use Dispatch via my phone to code between patient care like a ‘normal’ person…

Four of Pentacles: the cat that hoards her cheese. I cannot stop laughing.

On deck over the weekend is finishing polishing up Bend Her in 28 langs, making the epubs and print PDFs pretty, automating the print PDF covers, and uploading it everywhere (also, before, 5/1, pray for me and my AIs in this trying time, thank you!)
