Actually glad I'm at work --

Hooboy! Now that Sol’s come out, I feel a little better about my upcoming Fable-crisis, but also I see Anthropic capitulated, like I kinda knew they had to, in order to keep people from cancelling their accounts (or, in my case, 2 and 3rd accounts…lolsob.)

I’m still gonna downgrade tho, I’m a 70% a GPT girlie — I don’t need my AI to be my friend, I want it to do quality math.

Which, I’m proud to say, Sol totally stepped up to the plate with and is crushing things for me right now. (I, uh, also currently have two GPT accts, ‘cause he’s a greedy mf’er and so am I.)

I’ve printed off 1000’s of images for FB ads & SM using my Content Factory system and my pro GPT acct (you can snag the Content Factory from a prior post here if you’re a subscriber, toss it to any desktop GPT with unlimited images and you’ll be set) and also 1000’s of videos from my free Kling 3 account on Higgsfield, which I jumped on bc it was unlimited for 5 days and I knew I could pilot their UI remotely — and then after that I can use my MCP connection for my monthly allotment of credits, which is nice.

I’ve also used an element of Content Factory to make international book covers for 168 books, and then Edgeforge for ppb and hardback interiors for 168 books, covers for both types of books, used my vendor skill to get 168 ISBNs, and I’ll start loading those up on KDP and IS when I get home tonight. (Oh, and, during this window, got up 84 vs of my trilogy in ppb, hardback, and large print to KDP and IS and too!)

I also let a Fable instance harvest all of my German finals from my translator so I can turn those into epubs from the source and put them up on Tolino, rather than dealing with a four year journey over two different Macs —

And Fable hardened the back end of Project Arachne like whoa — plus we redid the site to offer bulk pricing, and MCP access. (And I keep getting bomb-ass testimonials from people about it, muahahaha.)

We also hardened the back of Unspice and set up MCP and bulk purcase options for it as well!

And, another instance of Fable’s been working hard with me on Readerpet — the doors are open now! And it’s percolating thru Steam’s system, it should go live at the end of the month, with support for 28 different languages! I’ve got like two things I want to do with the DLC when I get home tonight, and that’ll be that!

And then I also figured out how to take my vertical dramas and create horizontal videos of them, which was a bit of a hassle, but it wound up being doable!

Oh — I hopped into KDP with a Fable instance and let it go ahead and turn all my virtual voice things on, since I won’t be able to put my AI audio up on Audible, since I might as well, but choosing voices/chapter was a PITA.

And then I’ve also been working hard as heck on Audio Arachne — I mentioned it here a few posts ago, but it’s gonna be my personal well tempered clavier, by which I mean it’s so effing complicated and so dialed into my personal preferences I won’t be able to share it, alas. I apologize for the bait and switch, but there’s no way to share it without my fingerprints all over it, and neither you nor I would want that.

I’m going to Puerto Rico with friends again in two days, and as it turns out I really need that vacation — my brain’s been fried from overcooking for 6 weeks? Heh. And — that’s why, even tho today’s purportedly our ‘last’(-lite) Fable day, I’m actually glad I’m at work? I needed the change of scenery and pace. (‘cause your girl has cancelled gym for the better part of the week to 24/7 churn.)

We’re actually going to an island off the coast of Puerto Rico, called Culebra, which is probably my favorite place in the world — we’re there for three nights — and my goal is to have Audio Arachne set up well enough that it can churn without me at my brother’s place the entire time I’m gone.

I’ve already copyedited all of my books with the copy edit function inside Arachne (since who doesn’t want to get the best possible version of their book translated?) and ran them thru my parser.

I’ll still have to listen to the result on the far end — and chances are it won’t be able to do everything perfectly — but if it can do the parts it can perfect already, and just stack up the errors at the end for me to deal with, that’ll be a HUGE leap forward on everything.

What I want to do on the plane though, where I’ll probably be w/out internet — ‘cause what even is the point of being online without AI access ;P — is to start writing Hate Her.

So many fans of that series have emailed me recently to ask where that book is, and I’m starting to feel like all the projects in my periphery are under control enough for me to write again.

I’ve got the systems settled, the processes in place, the infrastructure to hold it all, and three alternative sources of income coming up (Arachne, Readerpet, and Unspice) in addition to my translations so —

It’s time!
