Arachne now has MCP access!

for if you're lazy like me ;)

Cross-posted from AI Marketing for Storytellers.

So you know me, I trust many of my AIs, and I decided it’d be nice to have a Fable instance rock my Project Arachneback end for me — and then I decided that I should share that progress with you!

MCP access is basically it generates a token for you, you give it to your Claude (ask it how, it’ll tell you what to do) and then Claude (right now, Fable!) can interact with Arachne’s back end on your behalf.

I recommend a) doing it once the ‘hard’ way, just so you know how things go and b) approving your own voice profiles, glossarys, and cannon facts, in English — but after that, you can have a Claude instance do your copyedits, run your translations — you could just say, “Hey Claude, it’s time to do German, can you run my XYZ series through German for me?” and it’ll do that for you, against your keys — stored locally on your device, not mine! — and it’ll babysit things, and work through your final review at the end for you, till you get your final file for your epub.

It’s as easy — and as good! — a fiction translation as you can do at this time.

How do I know that?

Because I’m getting reviews like this on Google Play, in Czech —

You know what that says? Me either! But here’s Jack’s translation, lol —

Not showing you that to brag on the content, LOL, which clearly left something to be desired for this woman, but — do you think this woman would’ve harshed on my translation if she could’ve????

Hellls to the yeah she would’ve, LOL!

(But she didn’t!)

and people are giving book three reviews like this:

which translates to:

Moreover, I had Fable help me onboard Slovak as a language, because a Beta asked — so I ripped through four books, after creating the best ruleset I could off of all my prior AI-translation language theory, and this was after he read the first of them — before any of my recursive memory work has the chance to kick in —

I’m pretty chuffed!!!

As always, subscribers get access to Arachne free and other ppl pay just $50/book for set up/memory hosting costs, and then BYOK for all your translations thereafter!

I’m not calling any part of this Beta anymore, we’re ready to ROCK AND ROLL!

xo!
