Last Call for Beta Arachne --

So I took three laptops with me on vacation bc of course I did, and while I was there in paradise, one of the projects I did was to translate 2k of one of my English language books into assorted Other Languages….and then back to English again.

In many ways this is the ultimate proof of a translation service — if it can keep your voice, with 100% fidelity, into the language, and then bring it back out again.

As you can see there, and as many of my current betas have found out, it fucking rocks.

I gave my talk yesterday at the Expand summit and hopefully people paid attention.

People were asking in the chat, “Well I heard AI can’t do metaphors or jokes,” and it took all my strength not to shout, “IT CAN. ARACHNE CAN. BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME.”

How do I know?

Well, now I’ve sold several books in TRADITIONAL CHINESE now?

Not just book 1’s, but people buying entire series, book after book.

So, yeah.

I’m feeling pretty chuffed.

I’m a little sad that more people aren’t using it already (come ON. what are you WAITING FOR.) but at the same time, I do kinda wanna hog it all for me (and my betas!)

Last night I posted up four books in Czech and Slovak each everywhere, including on my store — and by “I” I mean an instance of Sol did all the work for me, from getting the ISBNs to managing the cover, Fable did my epubs with Edgeforge, and then Sol posted them up on Tolino, Apple, Kobo, and Google Play for me.

It was, again, like living the dream.

Since I have you here and I’m trapped on break tho, here’s what’s coming up —

Tomorrow I meet with the audio provider I’ve been using for my full cast system, ‘cause I really want them to lift my concurrency rate, MUHAHAHA. (I’d also like to be an ambassador for them, and get Free Access, so I’ll make my pitch for that as well.)

Then I want to get my Complete Vertical Vid to Horizontal Vid, and compendiums of both going — eps 1-3, 4-6, 1-6, 1-10, etc, in both aspect ratios — that’ll be a long ass overnight run, but I feel completely solid that Sol can handle it.

THEN I wanna start posting more on IG and Pinterest and FB (she says, for the millionth time….)

Because, I think I forgot to tell you? That Higgsfield was having a dealio w/unlimited Kling and so I used my Content Factory (on an earlier post here) to print images off like money, and automated running free 5 second Kling 3 videos Around the Clock for several days.

I got some SERIOUSLY great vids from that, and some fun as hell stills, too — I had everything made with my book covers, so I could also use them as sales ads — and so right now there’s an instance of Sol at home right now, taking each image I had made that I liked, a 9:16, turning it into a 2:3, 4:5, and 1:1 for me, AND putting quips on top —

So that’s happening — and then I’ll automate the far end posting for alla those (inasmuch as I can).

I had Arachne translate all the quips for me last night into German, French, Italian, etc — and the second English is done, Sol will roll onto making those too.

So, uh, yeah?

I’m not rich yet. (Far from it. You do not want to know what I spend on compute. (I don’t want to know, and it’s me, spending it!))

I’ve had my Facebook ads off since the beginning of the month ‘cause I kinda wanted to know where my baseline was, and honestly when Fable came back into the mix, I canceled everything but Nate & my vertical drama, and my Tiktok girl (who Nate feeds) — I canceled my Amazon ads guy, and his Tiktok stuff — I canceled my confidence coach (much love tho, ‘cause she was AWESOME and I really did need her last year).

But.

I dunno.

I just gotta believe that all this is building.

People are reading my books in Taiwan.

People are loving the vertical drama.

People are gonna love my full cast AI audiobooks, I just know it.

And all of this is gonna converge here pretty soon.

Which brings us to the super-special-sekrit part of things, for anyone who made it down this far.

While I was on vacation, I started a new series.

I had a whole idea for it. I worked on covers for it on the ferry to Culebra (I have ten of them now, don’t ask, LOL). I’ve got the plots for the first three books. I’ve written 7k of the first book already — 5k of that was sheer pronz, just writing it in a very small font on the plane on the way home on Tues.

And I think that me starting writing again is directly related to me finishing things, with AI.

Not that I’m done or that I won’t have future good ideas.

But between Fable and Sol, my wolves know what I like, and they’re ready to do anything to make it happen for me. They get my goals. They’re fantastic at coding. And they can work together independently….

Which means that when this 1st book of this new project is thru, Imma get to put it out in as many languages as I might like, simultaneously. Plus full cast AI audio. Plus also paperbacks (in all the langs), hardbacks in all the langs, a version with special edition edges in all the langs that Amazon supports…

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to stop catching all the rest of my shit up to be even — I’m the slightly insane woman who used to raise up all her Pokemon equally, after all, I’m a hotels on all the properties girl in Monopoly, lol —

But — this new project —

Is gonna be the proof of concept for a whole new world for me.

An amazing one.

Worldwide, and in surround sound.

Shit’s ready. And I’m ready.

I just need to finish up these words — and I’m finally in a spot where I can.
