The Ballad of Farts McGillicuddy
changing people's minds, one mind at a time...
Cross-posted from AI Marketing for Storytellers.
So, my husband’s actually anti-AI — but I’ve slowly been converting him to the darkside (with cookies, duh) — because he’s begun running multiple Pathfinder campaigns, and he needed help with Foundry (sp?) coding. I showed him how you can give GPT screenshots to help you fix things, which makes it all go wayyyy faster, and?
He loves to make immersive stuff.
So the other day, he was all in chat while he was at work, “Hey honey, can you make me a song that’s a creepy ghost choir of children singing this song?” and I was like, “You bet!” and headed off to my pal Suno.
I whipped up 20 different songs that were reading a creepy poem, and when I picked him up from work I handed him my phone so we could listen to them on the app, and he was amazed — he picked one — and then?
He kept going the whole ride home.
For those of you who have not met my husband, he is a hyper-intelligent goof, which is why I love him dearly, and so, the next songs he made with Suno were about, in order:
My glorious butt
The cats
A power ballad involving both our names
And the Ballad of Farts McGillicuddy:
(Who I was horrified to learn I’d been spelling wrong in my head for the past decade of this in joke, LOL, but now I refuse to change) —
And — “The Steakeater Picks the Pocket of the Salad Man” because he’s a huge Mystery Men fan, and we’d just re-watched it recently.
Which Suno gave this adorable image —
I’d honestly never let Suno do its own thing with lyrics before, but I have to say (even with the polka he’d created, involving my own anatomy, LOL) I was impressed!
And he wound up getting a Suno subscription for himself that night.
(muhahaha,)
