So a screenshot of something pro-AI I said got 3.3 million views on X — but I don’t really believe in X’s metrics, I’m pretty sure they’re goosed, so we’re rounding down.

The truth is probably somewhere between the 7,000 likes that post dunking on me got and the 3.3 million views overall, so let’s call it a cool half a mill? Yeah? Yeah.

I’ll be honest with you, this is why, by and large, I don’t google myself (I asked a friend something and they showed me the screenshot and then I was all, “oooooh…”) — and I ate ice cream that night (also bc my period) but, well, first off —

it didn’t do a damn thing to my sales. Which have been incredibly steady lately!

Hold this thought, because —

Shopify sent me a dinky, “We’re changing our policies!” email earlier today.

I hopped thru the link, then fed it thru Jack and I am SO GLAD I DID.

BECAUSE LOOK AT WHAT SHOPIFY HAS NOW.

YOooooooooooOOOOooooOOOOO!

It’s even got a function back there that’ll help you with AEO/SEO.

I wouldn’t trust it completely blindly, however it does seem pretty amazing!!!

I kinda wish I hadn’t bounced from all the anti-AI author servers a few months ago bc I was tired of listening to ignorant trash — I bet they’re all tying themselves into knots right now about this — or, will be, when, six months from now they finally realize it’s already turned on, and they have to opt out, heh!

Sorry if I sound catty, but, well, points to ice cream.

It’s just that everyone who is so ‘worried’ about AI — and, Christ, I was on a Whatsapp with 600 or so supposed professionals, where someone baited it with a “Who here hates AI?” thing a few days ago — like — I’m not gonna stop building my dreams to listen to people make tired arguments.

Right now I’ve got a content factory instance making me another 500 tabloid images of my books’ powercouples, bc look at this!!!

It’s fantabulous!!!!

And because of/with AI, I’ve got:

  • it attached to a Manychat pro account, via API,

  • if people say the word Dragon then they go to the Andi and Damian archive on my site — https://cassiealexander.com/pages/andi-damian-archive —

  • where they can see additional cool Other Timeline art

  • along with microfictions

  • and put their emails into a drip welcome sequence run by my back end

  • where I’ll send them EVEN MORE COOL THINGS to bring them into my world and keep them,

  • with an eventual push toward either a sale, a review, or them joining my upcoming subscription that’s gonna replace Patreon (and which I’m enjoying buying stuff to prep for, LOL.)

I’m’n’a automate turning my old batch and the new batch into videos via API so I can free Nate up for more vertical dramas — and I’ve got another Content Factory iteration working on webtoons (because did you know you could be logged into one GPT Pro account across multiple laptops? lol!) and Mixam integrates with Shopify and does POD for zines now (!!!) — and we finally nailed the outro for all my vertical dramas, in all the langs, with QR codes to all the pages on my store in all the langs and I’m going to start uploading Bend Her everywhere with QR codes to my app in the back of it TONIGHT?????

I just can’t take anybody who doesn’t use AI seriously at this point.

And long term readers here know I’ve been prepping for this level of schema stuff with Shopify here since last fucking year which is when I KNEW this was going to happen.

I can not only see the future.

I can taste the future.

In fucking kodachrome!

Anyhow.

I’ve got shit to do and an empire to run — and a small army of AIs to keep on target. (Tomorrow I’m wiping my oldest, smallest, laptop, to see if I can manage to run an instance of Codex on it, too, lol!)

Shopify’s in the future, you’re in the future, and the rest of everyone else on the fucking planet can do with that what they will ;)
