We're taking one week off, & next week is a different time!

Hey peeps!

My work schedule this week lands on Friday, and Novae just finished writing an epic fantasy, so we’re going to be taking this Friday, May 28th, off to recuperate.

And next week?

Next week we’re moving our scheduled Friday zoom to 3 PM PST! ⬅️⬅️⬅️

Why?

Because I’ll be getting back from LA that morning! ✈️ (I’m very excited about this, hopefully I’ll be able to tell you more details soon!)

After that though, we’ll be back like normal, same bat-time, same bat-channel, swear!

Now, onto my catch up —

Okay, so, last Friday I launched Arachne to beta people, and they’ve been great — they’ve helped me catch a ton of edge cases so I could fix them before anyone decided to pay me for the pleasure of my translation help — again, paid substack subscribers will have free stored book memories for life, whereas other ppl are going to have to pay me a $50/book-memory-retaining fee — the waitlist for this level is open now, at Project Arachne — so that’s been A Ton of Work.

Then, yesterday, we launched Bend Her’s vertical drama!!!!!!

It’s so good. Every time I see the transformation sequence I want to cry.

However — releasing it in 28 langs simultaneously has just blitzed my brain.

The books are up everywhere now (thank god!) but I’ve got my Lucky Codex Instance working on re-arranging my Youtube channels from the serial-killer-map I used to have for them into “Cassie Alexander en Español” with the intention of having all of my many future vertical dramas in there beneath them in their own playlists.

So he’s doing that, and I’ve got my Code instance working on international newsletters — and I’ve got another Codex instance working on my store, to sort of host things thru Youtube:

https://cassiealexander.com/pages/bend-her-episode-1-live

Because I mostly want to link people to my store and not anywhere else — and then we’re also adding on all the ontology work to these new pages we’re creating (in all the langs) —

all while translating all of my Dragon books into traditional and simplified Chinese, For Reasons.

I’ve been so busy this stretch off I’m not sure which way is up on a day-to-day basis — I’m approving episode 8, getting translations for episodes 6-8, still hammering away at Arachne bugs (French punctuation, I’m looking at you!) and I need to update Readerpet and push it out ASAP!

But it’s a good kind of chaos — and I can’t wait to see you all next week!

xoxo!

Cassie
