Why are you listening to anyone else?

We're the only news that matters.

Cross-posted from AI Marketing for Storytellers.

It could be the fact that I had to go to work this morning after the time change that is making me particularly feisty — for the fact that I'm break relief today so I likely won't get one myself — but I am sitting outside of another nurse's room and scanning all of my emails for the past 3 days and wondering why the f*** is anybody listening to anybody else other than Novae and I?

Seriously.

I hate to be a bitch (that's not gonna stop me…) — but, like…

The command center that Novae just shared is intensely amazing.

The keyword driller that I shared behind the paywall the post before that — it's been running on my machine for three f****** days straight I am now possessed of upwards of 10,000 keywords in every single language Amazon supports that I can use for my Amazon ads my KDP keywords and my social media in every single language… and it is still running for free because it's just making python calls over the Internet, so it's not charging me API to run. I set it up on a spare machine, and it literally never has to stop, and bc it's tied to Supabase (see Novae's last post!) I can access my data agentically, asking questions like “What keywords are best for this series?” to any agent I have hooked up.

I was on the wait list for gpt's Codex with Windows and I got in last night…

I'm currently running two Max Claude Code accounts and now that I have GPT's codex to add to that, if it's just as fierce as Code… I'm going to be unstoppable.

I am going to scale, hard, with every agentic minion I possess.

So when I see my collection of author service emails/newsletters in my inbox — and trust me, I've subscribed to EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, I am a high input motherfucker — I just…

Started mass unsubscribing to everything this morning.

I'm not saying we're perfect, or that there's nothing new under the sun, but if the 1st line from your services newsletter isn't “Let me show you how to use AI to do this”….

Then what, pray tell, is the fucking point?

The only exception to this rule is if you're doing mindset work with authors. We all need it, plz carry on, your work is important. People need to learn that they are worthy of accepting help, and creating help if they don't have it.

But, other than that?

You're just taking advantage of people.

Either from denial or naivety, but you are doing — and sometimes having the gall to charge for!!! — a literal disservice.

“But I hate AI!” you might say — well, in that case, have fun supporting an ever dwindling pool of authors marketing ineffectively, wasting hours — perhaps days! — of both of your singular and precious lives.

THERE IS NO WORLD IN WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T BE EMBEDDING AI IN EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF YOUR CAREER.

You need to train yourself, every time you have an idea, to ask: How can I have AI help me do this?

And in some cases, the answer may be, “Ugh, it's gonna take 24-48 hrs of upfront work”, to figure out how to incorporate it effectively.

It may, at this point in time, seem more convenient for you to do it yourself.

It is not, nor will it be, long-term, so do not be a dimwitted motherfucker.

It is this same instinct and inability to cope with impatience that holds you back repeatedly.

It is likely the same reason that you cannot delegate which is also likely the same reason you have never changed your Amazon keywords in 5 years — like me! — which is why I made a program with AI to do nothing but.

If you cannot scale because you are not twenty people, GUESS WHAT?

AI needs to become your best friend.

So.

How many people are you subscribed to and are you listening to, feeling the pull of their utterly outdated beliefs?

Are you giving them money for nothing?

Or worse yet — are you giving them time?

Cut that shit out.

Join the future.

Let the scales fall from your eyes… so you can come actually scale with me.

Xo!
